Mark Moreno was hired in 2007 as Bellarmine's Head Athletic Trainer. Since then, Mark has worked to raise the standard of care for our student-athletes, including departmental growth to three full time certified athletic trainers and two strength and conditioning specialists. In 2015, under Mark's leadership, Bellarmine College Preparatory was recognized by the National Athletic Trainers Association with the Safe Sports School Award - 1st Team. Mark was later named the Director of Sports Medicine. He currently oversees the sports performance department. Mark enjoys running, hiking, and playing golf when he is away from the Bellarmine community. He cherishes his time with his son, Gabriel, watching European soccer matches. His two women in his life, wife Tamara and daughter Emily, provide him with his lots of smiles and joy.
