Spring Sports Tryout Schedule

All students trying out for a school sport are required to be cleared medically PRIOR to the start of tryouts. Students will not be permitted to participate in any conditioning program, tryout, practice, scrimmage or game until they have completed all necessary information through Magnus Health. Direct all questions regarding medical clearance packet to our Assistant Athletic Trainer, Michael O'Shea, moshea@bcp.org.


*February 23rd, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the GYM will be the MANDATORY Spring Sports Parents meeting for all parents who have a student-athlete that makes a team.*

These are the initial tryout dates. Some tryouts may extend past these dates depending on overall numbers. All athletes should contact Coach Nate Sutton (nsutton@bcp.org) prior to trying out.
 
 
 
 
GOLF

The Final Informational and Sign-Up meeting for the BCP Golf Program will be held Jan. 13, 2026, in Lokey 205 at 9:45 a.m. This meeting is for all levels, both returners and non-returners , as well as those who have already signed up.
 
For those interested, tryouts will begin on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, for all levels (both non-returners and returners). Specific details will be discussed at the informational meeting on Jan. 13, 2025.

TENNIS

V & JV candidates: All tryouts will be at the Santa Clara Bay Club beginning at 330pm each day from Monday February 2nd until Friday February 13th. Fridays may begin earlier with early release. A bus will be available for transportation departing from Bellarmine at 250pm. Players are responsible for their own transportation home.

TRACK & FIELD

Track & Field is a self cut sport. You must attend all practices and meets to remain a member of the team. Any student who is cut from another Spring sport may join Track & Field so long as they join immediately after the cuts from the previous sport.
 
VOLLEYBALL

All Juniors and Seniors must tryout for Varsity. Sophomores may tryout for Varsity and if they aren't selected will attend JV tryouts.
